2018 - New Year New Projects

WELCOME TO 2018

Let's get this year started off right.  It's 2018 and you have lots to get done.  That means all  the left over projects from 2017 will be completed and EVERYTHING and I mean EVERYTHING scheduled to be done this year will take place on time and within budget.  There is no time like today to get started. 

• Have you reviewed your budget for 2018?
• Do you know what the projects are?
• Have you begun planning, bidding, etc.
• Does your company/team currently have the expertise, knowledge, skill set and time to pull it off? 
• Will this project lead to another one?  Is it connected to other phases?
• Are you Ready? 

 If reviewing your budget and projects has not been on your top 10 list of things to do today, then you will need to get up to speed quickly.  Your stakeholders, Directors, and VP's are not going to accept any excuse that starts with "I didn't know" so do yourself a favor and get the information needed.

After you have reviewed your 2018 projects and you see the line items for a new roof, installation of 20 electric charging stations and a complete office computer upgrade that includes a new operating system and new software; what will you do?  Who will you call?  I have sat in your chair many times and contemplated that very thing.  Sometimes its getting started that is the hardest.  Especially when the project is in unfamiliar territory and the first of its kind.  There is no worst procrastination than that of someone who doesn't have a clue on how to start or what to do.
