So Glad 2020 is Over, But What Now?

Wow, at the end of 2019 we had no idea what was coming!

Well, if you were anywhere on the planet in 2020 you were faced with a Pandemic.   It was one of the longest years ever, and by that I mean it felt more like two years.  Imagine sitting in your house ordering your groceries and working from your dining room table for 6 months....Oh that's right you were there too so you know exactly how that felt.

One of the only good things is that the Freeways and streets were clear, so if you did need to leave the house you could get to your destination quicker.

In the beginning we had the toilet paper wars, which basically led to almost having to buy TP and sanitizer from the black market or from the dark web.  Then there were lines at the grocery stores and everywhere else that was open.  We managed to get through that just to continue having schools, buildings, restaurants, and shopping malls closed.  This went on for longer than anyone ever thought possible and we were still in a pandemic.

Next there were people who fundamentally did not want to wear a mask.  I mean they thought their rights were being violated and the country was going to hell in a handbag.  But wait, there's more. Right around this time the former Administration did nothing to direct people to wear masks but instead left it up to each Governor to manage their citizens.  This led to no consistency among the country and Covid-19 outbreaks were everywhere.

Okay, so now that we have an overview of the year lets go back and add some protests, and riots which almost led to race wars. In some states I think it did. The police across the board were not seen in a good light.  The bad behavior of some led to even more distrust of the men and women in uniform who are there to protect and serve.  This could not have been at any worse time.

Before this little recap ends, I need to mention the capital being stormed during their sessions and the many people who tried to stop / recall a perfectly lawful vote.  Back in November of 2020 the United States of America had a vote.  At the end of the voting when all the ballots were counted and certified the American people voted for a regime change.  Now, there were folks that tried to declare it invalid and say there was tampering.  But, at the end of the day none of that was found.

I want to end by listing the names of people who have been lost due to unnecessary police and civilian violence.  Take a moment to read the names and know that this list by no means covers all of those who have been lost.  There are many many more that you can see at the link below.
